Happy 4th + Misc. Updates

Life UpdatesHappy 4th of July/"American Day" (as ~chicory-bell called it hahaha), everyone! I hope those of you in the USA got to view some wonderful fireworks; the ones they display downtown were spectacular, as always.
I spent my day at home with a friend playing FFX and We Love Katamari hahahaha. It's illegal to shoot fireworks in my neighborhood/city, sadly... so no block parties anymore. :/Sooo... I figured since I've been updating about my grandma's condition on here, it would only be fair to those who may have been following it as well. As some of you know, my grandmother passed away on June 26th while she was still in the hospital. She wasn't strong enough to fight off a rare disease that had gone untreated for years, supposedly. And because of its rarity, they wouldn't have found it unless they'd have been looking for it. However, she doesn't have to suffer anymore; she's in a much better place and can finally be at peace. So I'm glad for that, because her life was full of hardships and pain; love and joy, but she never stopped being cheerful and friendly to everyone she met no matter what happened. She was a real character, and it's going to be tough getting used to her being gone... But as always, I know that she's not really gone. They never really 'leave'; they become part of the world. Like the rays of sunlight, the river flowing, and the leaves. At least, that's what I believe.
She passed away the day before Gasukan, which was why I did not attend it last month. I may not be able to attend this month's either, as it will most likely be on the day that I leave to attend her funeral in Missouri. So, I won't be able to see my friends for awhile, sadly.
I hope that we can set up photoshoots together on other days of this month?Thank you everyone for your well-wishes, prayers, and hopes these past weeks. It means so much to me, you know? Not even words are good enough to express it, and I apologize for that. It's been a long month, and I hope that from this point onward I can grow as a person.
Cosplay UpdatesI've recently purchased my fabric for Drocell Kainz (Kuroshitsuji) and am hoping to start working on his coat tonight. :] I'm excited for this cosplay because there are many elements of it that I've yet to work with, and just as well Drocell is pretty epic for a character that only lasted 2-3ish episodes.
Currently I'm working on a version of Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles; it's very summer-friendly and light and I'm hoping to finish it soon so that I can take her out to a photoshoot~ I'm probably going to purchase her wig sometime this week, and am very excited to see how it turns out after styling. :']

Organized into two different types, ones that will be relatively straight-forward (even though it never is as easy as it looks lol.) and ones that require a lot of time, money, and effort. There's no doubt in my mind some of them will be pushed back into the next year, but I'd like to think that I can pace myself enough to complete all of these by the deadlines I have set.

5. Despite #4, I've never had to diet and don't plan on dieting. I love food too much, but I don't eat in excess and know not to eat unhealthy food all the time.

7. I'm a big fan of Korean/Taiwanese fashion, and spend hours flitting through online clothing sites<333

You know that thing about words not being enough to express feelings? That's this right now hahaha. I probably sound really weird and am probably creeping people out, but oh well. LOL Hopefully I can upload some new stuff when I get the chance to show you all. hahaha. (I feel bad because I'm working a lot more slowly... but I feel a lot healthier mentally and physically by going at this pace. I hope that's okay.
